Grateful October

I decided that I wanted to do something a little different this October...so I am calling it "grateful October". Normally we tend to become really grateful in November, I am not sure if I want thanksgiving to come sooner or if it is connected to turning 30 last week, but I felt like I didn't want to wait until November to be grateful. October 1~ Grateful for this guy... October 2~ Grateful for a new spacious office. I would show you a picture but really you should just stop by to see it and say hello! Same building, Ste. 101. October 3~ Grateful for the All Saints woman's Bible Study. We have been studying through Eph, it challenges the soul and your life which is exactly what I need. I wrote this about a year ago, but I wanted to put it up on my blog... Shaking off the distractions of life to even sit down and write a blog can be hard enough…it obviously is for me as have not written one in about a year. This challenge is nothing compared to that which life throws at you to keep you from having deep moment-by-moment relationship with your Savior. The reason that I say "moment-by-moment" is because when you are talking about the Savior of the universe, the one that gives you the strength to take that next step, the one that moves my fingers to type these words and puts my thoughts in a somewhat understandable sequence, WHY would you want anything less? For the last 2 years of my life I have kind of felt like I have been in a lesson, but never finding the answer. I am still amazed at everything that I've learned, even though I had no clue why I was learning it. Thankfully we have a faithful God that in his timing ch...

Christ's Victory...The Best of 2015!

Reflection is one of the most powerful gifts God gives to us. I hope that each of you can take time to reflect on this last year a see how God worked and the blessings that He gives through victories, trials, waiting, etc. Reflection is powerful because it allows us to see parts that we have not seen before, as I have seen the gentleness of God I believe we don't see those parts in the moments because we might not be able to handle it (as humans get overwhelmed pretty easily) but as we reflect He is able to make those lessons learned more permanent in our lives and hearts. 2015 brought Victory in so many ways! In my heart...over lies of worthlessness, selfishness and pride. In competition...learning to compete well and that Christ calls us to be competitive for Him and advancing His Kingdom.
